American Avocet
A slender and
graceful wader of ponds and marshes, Avocets feed by sweeping their bills
sideways through the water. They are found in Central and North America.
This bird is depicted
landing and is attached to the base by only one foot. This aluminum sculpture has
a full compliment of individual feathers and is mounted on a natural wood
base. Like all of Daniel's sculptures, this is a hand crafted one of kind
