Green Kingfisher
The Green Kingfisher
is mainly a Mexican species that resides in the lower Rio Grande Valley
in Texas. Uncommon in the Edwards plateau area of Texas and along the
San Pedro River in S.E. Arizona. They often perch on low, sheltered branches
above water and are hard to see. Their flight is very fast and direct, making
sightings even more difficult.
This sculpture is mounted on a natural wood base and is
made of aluminum. The bird is closed wing in a sitting position. Like all
of Daniel's sculptures, this is a hand crafted one of a kind original. Purchase
includes a letter of authenticity signed by the artist.
