Considered extinct for many decades, it has been confirmed that the Ivory-bill
Woodpeckers have been rediscovered in eastern Arkansas, in April of 2005. Despite over
hunting and destruction of habitat this species has proven to be survivors. It is my hope that
through conservation and understanding we can save this species from the brink of extinction.

This sculpture is of a mated pair of Ivory Billed Woodpeckers.
They are sculpted from aluminum and have over 140 individual feathers
between the two birds. A handcrafted vine of raccoon Grape wraps around
a very life like old stump. It is mounted on a walnut base. Like all
of Daniel's sculptures, this is a hand crafted one of a kind original.
Purchase includes a letter of authenticity signed by the artist.
