Daniel loves to do commissions.
He finds them exciting and rewarding.
Generally he will put down other projects that are in the works to finish a commission. The customer gets their piece in a timely manner and he gets the satisfaction of creating a piece that is
tailored to the spirit of another human.
It connects him with the client and the piece in a way that is unattainable otherwise.
He believes in open and unrushed communication
and taking the time to discover exactly what the client desires.
Many times he will do research and send the client information on different species so that the client can make a more solid choice that will create a lasting connection and love of the
sculpture they ultimately receive.
He ships in a timely manner and makes the purchase process
simple, secure and pleasing.

Red-tailed Hawk
commission
Red-tailed Hawk commission
This Red-tailed Hawk was commissioned through the web site by a wonderful couple in Illinois.

They wanted a bird of prey in flight. Daniel asked several questions to get a feel for what would best suite them and their home and then he did research on several species in their area and sent them photographs and information on the different species.

He consulted with them on their feelings on the different species. When a species was decided upon he communicated with them to get a feel for their preferences.
Daniel offered them many choices for specifications of the bird {i.e. did they wish for individual feathers, one-piece wings, feet, or any special feature like a hunting pose} and included the price differences that the different feature represented.

The consultations and decision making process is never rushed. The artist believes that art is a very personal experience and he wants to make sure that the client is sure of what they decide upon.

After plenty of consultation and an accurate quote of the cost this Red-tailed Hawk was sculpted as per the client's preferences.
When it was finished an address to a private web page was sent so that the client could see the product before any money was ever exchanged. For their convenience a purchase button was included that was directly linked to the fast and secure payment method of PayPal. As soon as their payment cleared the sculpture was shipped via FedEx.

Snowy Owl
commission
The man that commissioned this piece saw some of Daniel's works in the Artistic Impressions gallery after they had moved to Sedona Arizona. He asked the gallery owner if the artist could possibly do a Snowy Owl in flight. When he was informed that Daniel could sculpt pretty much whatever he wanted life size he was really excited.
The man had certain specifications and size limitations that needed to be worked around but he was rather pleased that it was no obstacle and he received his commission in record time.

All purchase details were managed by the gallery but as always Daniel believes in communication and it is his goal to see that the customer truly receives a piece of art work that will continue to captivate.

Osprey
commission
This Osprey was commissioned by a very interesting lady through a gallery in Sandpoint, Idaho and now hangs in this loft nook in her house.

She even went back to the architect to have him revamp this space in her house to specifically fit this sculpture.

Now, that is a compliment to an artist. Daniel was thrilled that someone would be so touched by his work have part of their house built with it in mind.
All purchase details were managed by the gallery but as always Daniel believes in communication and the personal relationship that a person can have with the art that they chose.
This Osprey was done with a trout in its talons. The client lives on a lake in Idaho and regularly gets to see these majestic beauties show off their talents as master fishermen.

So, again it is another case where art can reach out to the spirit of the person by showing what they feel connected with on this earth and incorporating it into the space of their daily lives.
